Beth E. Warach, J.D., M.S.S.A., L.L.M.

Ms. Warach is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Law, in Cleveland, Ohio. Concurrent with the receipt of her J.D. degree, she received a degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve School of Applied Social Sciences. While attending law school, she was awarded the Samuel T. and Edna Gaines Scholarship for her legal advocacy work on behalf of the mentally ill and mentally retarded. She holds a Master of Laws in Taxation degree from Boston University School of Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

Ms. Warach has been practicing law for more than twenty years. She has worked previously as an attorney with Merrimack Valley Legal Services, specializing in elder law and government benefits law. She has also worked as a Hearing Officer with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Division of Medical Assistance and with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. She has served as Tax Counsel for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Appellate Tax Board. She also worked with the Wellesley Hills law firm of Jeffrey L. Allen & Associates, P.C. for more than five years, in the area of estate planning, estate administration and tax preparation.

Ms. Warach concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, fiduciary income tax law, gift tax and generation skipping transfer tax planning, trust administration, probate and estate administration. She is a member of the Solo & Small Practitioner Estate Planner’s study group, which meets monthly in Needham. She is also a member of the national and Massachusetts chapters of NAELA, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

She is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and qualified to practice before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the Massachusetts Federal District Court.

Ms. Warach is married with two sons, the younger in high school and the elder at Colby College. She resides in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts.
